Meaning:   

If we see our life process as being random and in the “hands of fate”, we can feel powerless at times. This important tenet reveals that in actuality, there is an orderly

progression underlying all of the life process; both individually and collectively.

 

Everything unfolds in a way that serves a purpose, if we let it, and can take us somewhere in our path of learning and achievement. Life is about cyclic activity that layers on top of itself, leading to incremental advancement along the way.
 

Quality:

The primary quality of this tenet involves ADAPTING. As it is in the “scientific method”, manifestation involves a step-by-step process wherein it “progressively evolves” with each step.

 

Rather than “flying by the seat of our pants”, there is a sense of structure and purpose with each step in the progression. We sense the vector towards our goal and move with it. Life activities feel intentional rather than haphazard. We use our power of free choice to have a constructive response to the unexpected movements of the life process. We embrace the idea of continuous adapting to progress to our goal.

Benefit:

Patience is the true cost of orderly progression, as there is no fast-track to instant gratification. Spontaneity has its place, but must give way to the greater power of thoughtfully planned activity, based on conscious choice, executed with constructive intention.

 

The true value of this tenet is to live a life filled with purpose every day. The “payoff” comes in seeing the results when they eventually manifest, or until they do, knowing in your heart that you are moving the proverbial needle in the direction of betterment.
